audition resources for volunteer singers
VOLUNTEER SINGER AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
- A 2-3 minute, prepared solo in a style of your choice,
- Vocal exercises assessing range, flexibility, pitch accuracy, and tonal memory (see below),
- Preparation of a musical excerpt from the Brahms Requiem indicative of programming in the 25/26 season (see below),
- OPTIONAL: To be considered for Bach, Christmas Oratorio project, please prepare the excerpt from Handel's Messiah: "For Unto Us" (see below).
