On the occasion of the Minnesota Chorale’s 25th anniversary in 1997, the Chorale’s Board of Directors announced the creation of the The Continuo Society, an honorary organization recognizing individuals who have made bequests, created trusts, or made pension-plan or life-insurance beneficiary designations in favor of the Chorale. Continuo Society benefactors have used their planned gifts to support the mission of the Chorale and to ensure its ongoing vitality.
If you are developing or updating your estate plan, please consider the Chorale as a beneficiary. And if you have already provided for the Chorale in your plan, please let our new Executive Director, Alyssa Breece know so that we can enroll you as a member of The Continuo Society. You can email her at [email protected] or call her at 612-455-2298. No minimum commitment is required. If you make a planned gift, please complete the attached form and send it to Minnesota Chorale, 1200 Marquette Ave, Suite 100, Minneapolis, MN 55403. When you notify us of your gift, we will enroll you in our Continuo Society. Although not a requirement, should you name the Chorale in a planned gift, we would welcome a copy of the legal document that accompanies your planned gift. This can make estate administration easier when your gift is received and ensure that it will be put to the intended purposes. However, this is entirely your option. We are delighted to assist you but cannot provide legal advice. We urge you to consult with a trusted advisor for guidance in this and similar matters. Your bequest to the Chorale will help keep its voice strong. We invite you to join The Continuo Society. Thank you for your consideration and support, Alyssa K.
