About Us
Like other leading symphonic choruses, the Minnesota Chorale comprises a roster of both paid and volunteer singers. Singers come to the Chorale through a rigorous audition process. Once accepted to the active roster, all singers are required to re-audition every year. From this diverse pool of vocalists, Artistic Director Kathy Saltzman Romey selects the voices best suited to each performance project. Auditions
All singers -- prospective and current -- audition every year in May and June. The audition includes the performance of a short sacred or secular solo. Auditions also include vocal exercises to determine range and voice part, tonal memory, sight reading ability, and musicianship. Volunteer The Chorale needs volunteers to help with a wide variety of tasks – from assisting with mailings to helping usher at our Bridges concerts.
